Small Earlobes (Augmentation)

Earlobes that are naturally too small represent an uncommon abnormality. Options for earlobe augmentation include tissue rearrangement of the skin immediately surrounding the lobes. Skin from behind the ear can be “borrowed” and used to enlarge the lobe. If this is not sufficient, additional tissue from the skin in front the earlobe can be used. The remaining incision line can often be hidden just within a natural crease along the lobes.
